Brain Maps: Mindmeister

Hi guys!!

 In this post, I want to show you a very useful website named Mindmeister.


      Mindmeister is a very useful WEB 2.0 tool. If you have an idea that needs brainstorming, you can use Mindmeister.

     Mindmeister enables users to create mind maps and share the map with other users. This way, users can brainstorm together.

    I use this website for creating specific maps for my classes. For example, I created my last map for my English Teaching Program class while I study for finals. This class has many terms that are related together. So, with Mindmeister, it is easy for me to create links between them. As a good result, every time I see my map, it is more easier to remember the terms.

TPACK&SAMR in Language Teaching

Hello!!! Today I would like to say a few words about two terms called TPACK and SAMR. These two frameworks emerged in language teaching because lately technology is a big part of life. To ease and create a better class environment, these two frameworks are needed.      Let's learn what is TPACK is first. This framework is created by  Punya Mishra and Matthew J. Koehler. TPACK focuses on technological knowledge(TK), pedagogical knowledge(PK), and content knowledge(CK). It offers an efficient approach to problems that teachers are facing in implementing technology to classes. According to TPACK framework, some specific technological tools like software, application, etc. are very important to show and guide students with a better understanding of the subject.        In TPACK framework, three types of knowledge- technological knowledge, pedagogical knowledge, and content knowledge- are combined in various different ways. UNESCO Loved It: Thinglink

Hello everybody!   Today's topic is a platform that is rewarded by UNESCO for   ICT in Education Prize. It is called Thinglink.   Thinglink is a platform that enables users to create interactive images and videos. It also offers VR and 360 degrees images.     It is very easy to understand the process of creating an interactive image or video because when you sign in to the website, it shows you a tutorial video. After that, you can see a bunch of inspiring projects to get help from.      In a classroom environment, thinglink will be very helpful to create new projects for students. Creating interactive presentations can be beneficial for students. They can experience Thinglink and learn more effectively. They can also interact with each other while working in groups and create an interactive image. With the 360 degrees feature, students can experience a unique learning way.
