UNESCO Loved It: Thinglink

Hello everybody!

  Today's topic is a platform that is rewarded by UNESCO for ICT in Education Prize. It is called Thinglink.



  Thinglink is a platform that enables users to create interactive images and videos. It also offers VR and 360 degrees images. 

   It is very easy to understand the process of creating an interactive image or video because when you sign in to the website, it shows you a tutorial video. After that, you can see a bunch of inspiring projects to get help from. 

    In a classroom environment, thinglink will be very helpful to create new projects for students. Creating interactive presentations can be beneficial for students. They can experience Thinglink and learn more effectively. They can also interact with each other while working in groups and create an interactive image. With the 360 degrees feature, students can experience a unique learning way.

          Hello Everybody!      In these crazy days of life, truth to be told, in quarantine life it is hard to know how to spend time effectively. Well, we can't leave our houses for education or courses but there is a good alternative to take courses almost about everything: online courses.      Online courses can be reached from a number of platforms. What you only need is an internet connection. There are options for platforms like Udemy, Edx, or Coursera. In these online course platforms, you can find a course about anything you want to learn about. You can select the language or the level of the course. It is up to you.          In these online course platforms you can choose free courses or paid ones. In paid online courses, you can get a certificate of completion. Usually paid courses also have the feature of lifetime access.         On the other hand, if you don't need any certificate you can enjoy free courses! I personally just have finished a free course

TPACK&SAMR in Language Teaching

Hello!!! Today I would like to say a few words about two terms called TPACK and SAMR. These two frameworks emerged in language teaching because lately technology is a big part of life. To ease and create a better class environment, these two frameworks are needed.      Let's learn what is TPACK is first. This framework is created by  Punya Mishra and Matthew J. Koehler. TPACK focuses on technological knowledge(TK), pedagogical knowledge(PK), and content knowledge(CK). It offers an efficient approach to problems that teachers are facing in implementing technology to classes. According to TPACK framework, some specific technological tools like software, application, etc. are very important to show and guide students with a better understanding of the subject.        In TPACK framework, three types of knowledge- technological knowledge, pedagogical knowledge, and content knowledge- are combined in various different ways.
