Fun and Colorful : Padlet


 
           Hello everyone.
        Today we will talk about Padlet.


Padlet is a very useful website to use in different fields. In language teaching, padlet is very helpful website to get intention of the students because it has many colorful and fun features.

Padlet is a website that you can create diagrams about your content and join another padlets to share information. When you start to create your padlet you have a few optiontions. You can create wall,flow or timeline, etc. After you choose that, it is all your imagination.


While I create my padlet, I imagined that I do it for my young students to teach them animals. I choose canvas to start. And create small canvases with pictures of animals.I chose cartoon pictures of the animals . I gave information about them. It was fun to create this padlet. It looks cute, colorful and attractive.


In teaching language, padlet can be very useful like in my situation. As a teacher, I can create padlets to teach my students or I can make them to create padlets to see what they get from my classes. Students can have fun while creating padlets . And I believe, with padlet, the active learning happens.

TPACK&SAMR in Language Teaching

Hello!!! Today I would like to say a few words about two terms called TPACK and SAMR. These two frameworks emerged in language teaching because lately technology is a big part of life. To ease and create a better class environment, these two frameworks are needed.      Let's learn what is TPACK is first. This framework is created by  Punya Mishra and Matthew J. Koehler. TPACK focuses on technological knowledge(TK), pedagogical knowledge(PK), and content knowledge(CK). It offers an efficient approach to problems that teachers are facing in implementing technology to classes. According to TPACK framework, some specific technological tools like software, application, etc. are very important to show and guide students with a better understanding of the subject.        In TPACK framework, three types of knowledge- technological knowledge, pedagogical knowledge, and content knowledge- are combined in various different ways. UNESCO Loved It: Thinglink

Hello everybody!   Today's topic is a platform that is rewarded by UNESCO for   ICT in Education Prize. It is called Thinglink.   Thinglink is a platform that enables users to create interactive images and videos. It also offers VR and 360 degrees images.     It is very easy to understand the process of creating an interactive image or video because when you sign in to the website, it shows you a tutorial video. After that, you can see a bunch of inspiring projects to get help from.      In a classroom environment, thinglink will be very helpful to create new projects for students. Creating interactive presentations can be beneficial for students. They can experience Thinglink and learn more effectively. They can also interact with each other while working in groups and create an interactive image. With the 360 degrees feature, students can experience a unique learning way.
