Let's create comics!!!


Hello everybody!!!

 In pixton, creating comics is so easy and fun! 

Firstly, you choose what for you will use it; student, parent or teacher, etc. After that, you create an avatar. The tutorial part is very helpful. 

I created my avatar and my account as a teacher. And then, I started to create my first comic.

In my first comic, I dreamed that I give my students an assignment. I gave this assignment through these comics. As I create one, I become an example for them and I ask them to create another one. I also want them to use their classmate's avatars to increase interaction between students.

Creating comics in Pixton is very easy. You have many options. You can choose backgrounds, characters, faces, and also the actions of characters. You can add speeches or thoughts to your characters. It is very easy and fun.

I am very excited to use pixton in my class with my students. This will be a very useful material to use in class. Using this type of technology is effective in language teaching. I would like to try it.

TPACK&SAMR in Language Teaching

Hello!!! Today I would like to say a few words about two terms called TPACK and SAMR. These two frameworks emerged in language teaching because lately technology is a big part of life. To ease and create a better class environment, these two frameworks are needed.      Let's learn what is TPACK is first. This framework is created by  Punya Mishra and Matthew J. Koehler. TPACK focuses on technological knowledge(TK), pedagogical knowledge(PK), and content knowledge(CK). It offers an efficient approach to problems that teachers are facing in implementing technology to classes. According to TPACK framework, some specific technological tools like software, application, etc. are very important to show and guide students with a better understanding of the subject.        In TPACK framework, three types of knowledge- technological knowledge, pedagogical knowledge, and content knowledge- are combined in various different ways. UNESCO Loved It: Thinglink

Hello everybody!   Today's topic is a platform that is rewarded by UNESCO for   ICT in Education Prize. It is called Thinglink.   Thinglink is a platform that enables users to create interactive images and videos. It also offers VR and 360 degrees images.     It is very easy to understand the process of creating an interactive image or video because when you sign in to the website, it shows you a tutorial video. After that, you can see a bunch of inspiring projects to get help from.      In a classroom environment, thinglink will be very helpful to create new projects for students. Creating interactive presentations can be beneficial for students. They can experience Thinglink and learn more effectively. They can also interact with each other while working in groups and create an interactive image. With the 360 degrees feature, students can experience a unique learning way.
