What you only need is an internet connection. There are options for platforms like Udemy, Edx, or Coursera. In these online course platforms, you can find a course about anything you want to learn about. You can select the language or the level of the course. It is up to you.          In these online course platforms you can choose free courses or paid ones. In paid online courses, you can get a certificate of completion. Usually paid courses also have the feature of lifetime access.         On the other hand, if you don't need any certificate you can enjoy free courses! I personally just have finished a free course

Hello everyone.            Almost 5 years ago, a new term introduced to us. A term that will be very close to our lives, now it is even in our phones. It is called Augmented Reality(AR).         " Augmented reality is the blending of interactive digital elements – like dazzling visual overlays, buzzy haptic feedback, or other sensory projections – into our real-world environments." What is meant by that? Think about it. For example, you can see a chair when you look in front of you from your phone but in reality, there is no chair. That's AR.        AR, like VR, almost everywhere in these days. There are tons of applications or websites that offer AR experience for phones, computers, or tablets. On the other hand, Apple phones or tablets have this feature inside them. You don't need another extra application. You can see a section just for AR on the Apple website.        Augmented reality can be used in many sectors for sure but in education, it can be very effective.

Hello everybody.     In this post, I want to talk about the Virtual Reality(VR).    Virtual reality is a  simulated  experience that can be similar to or completely different from the real world.  It is said that the most important feature of VR is the fact that it can imitate real settings.           In this century, we see VR almost in every sector. We see it in entertainment, business, or education. In entertainment aria, we see it mostly in games. There are plenty of games that offer gamers to play with VR. You kinda get into the game and play it like it is real. It is a very exciting experience.     For education, VR is newly used. Let's think about it. As a teacher, you can bring almost every environment for your students. For biology human body, for history Pyramids, or for language classes you can choose the country of the language belongs. Hi guys!! In this post, I want to show you a very useful website named Mindmeister.       Mindmeister is a very useful WEB 2.0 tool. If you have an idea that needs brainstorming, you can use Mindmeister.      Mindmeister enables users to create mind maps and share the map with other users. This way, users can brainstorm together.     I use this website for creating specific maps for my classes. For example, I created my last map for my English Teaching Program class while I study for finals. This class has many terms that are related together. So, with Mindmeister, it is easy for me to create links between them. As a good result, every time I see my map, it is more easier to remember the terms.

Hello everyone!! Today I am going to talk about how we can use animation in language teaching!!      Using technological tools in education is very effective I already said that in my earlier posts. Today I am using an animation maker called Animoto to my imaginary students to practice "introducing yourself".    I created an animation in animoto to create an example for my students. In this animation, I introduce myself. I tell my name, where I come from, how old I am, and which school I study.  I use the specific patterns from "introducing myself" like present simple tense. In this way, they learn how to introduce themselves in a simple way. Also, they can create one to see what they have learned.  You can reach my animation from here :)
